Had a visit today from Paddy - the first male pupil. He settled in very quickly, in spite of us both being a bit nervous, but he soon proved himself a competent sewer and eager to learn. I hope he'll join us for our Saturday sessions as he he'd fit in grand and I expect he'll do very well with his patchwork. Its Christmas! 

Got deliveries from Makower (loads of extra plain colours) and Northcott (new Christmas fabrics)

After much to-ing and fro-ing the Kaffe Fasset fabrics have finally arrived. 

They look every bit as good as I hoped and I can't wait to try a new quilt using them. 

They're so bright and vibrant - they really have to be seen to be believed.
